This Christmas we put up our Christmas tree, put a wreath on the front door, and we put bells on the door handle. Then we decorated the Christmas tree with all kinds of pretty things- paper stars, homemade cloth ornaments in the shapes of Christmas trees, glass ornaments including angels, balls, and a snowflake. We also have ribbons hanging down from the top of the tree with flowers on top. There were lots of presents under the tree. Some of them were from me, some of them were from Jonathan, some were from mommy and daddy, and some were from David and Grace. We also had some from Uncle Jay and Aunt Lucy, and our friend "Aunt" Kelanie.

We have an advent wreath with 24 candles. It has pretty berries around the greenery. Each night we tried to light a new candle, but if it was too late, then we would light 2 the next night. We lit all the candles and one big candle on Christmas day. When we lit the candles we sang Christmas carols and read Christmas books. I like Advent.
It hasn't snowed very much yet- only a little bit on Christmas which lasted only a few minutes. We didn't get to see it because we were setting up my horse barn that I got for Christmas. It came with two horses and a girl.
For Christmas breakfast- which was really lunch and breakfast (11:00), we had two huge omelet rolls with ham, cheese, and green onions in them. We also had an apple bread ring and a cinnamon ring. I helped make the apple bread ring. I helped by dumping all the chopped apples into a bowl and mixed them with cinnamon and orange peel. Mia and Grandad, Aunt Amy, Aunt Anna, Aunt Heather, and Uncle Micah came over to eat with us.
We went to Mia's house for dinner. We had mashed potatoes that melted in your mouth and were very creamy because they had cream cheese in them. There was also squash, turkey, stuffing, gravy, broccoli salad, and green beans. We also opened our presents from Mia and Grandad, and our aunts and uncle. We got home very late and went to bed at 10:30. So we were very tired this morning.

I loved Christmas this year.
