Cheekwood Tree Houses
Yesterday we went to Cheekwood. There were several tree houses. One was a fish, another one was a seashell. The fish was covered with CD's. This is a picture of my favorite tree house (above). It has stairs leading up to the porch. Inside there is a table with a coffee pot on it. There is a ladder going up the wall into the loft. Underneath there is a swing. If I could build any kind of tree house, I would build it high in a tree. It would look almost like this one. The loft would be across the whole ceiling. There would be a lot more things inside. It would be a fun tree house.

Pingpong Fight
We got back from vacation about a week ago. There were several funny moments, but I think the funniest was when we got into a pingpong fight with Uncle Jason. It all started when we were playing a game of pingpong. We were hitting the balls across the table like usual, when suddenly, somebody threw a pingpong ball. Pingpong balls started flying everywhere! We ducked and dodged, smacking pingpong balls across the room. Sometimes it got a bit rough so we slipped into the storage closet. Whenever there was a pingpong ball available everyone scrambled to get it. All we could hear were the pingpong balls bouncing off of everything. It was a crazy fight, but lots of fun. I like pingpong fights!

Blue
Looks like the big blue sky,
Smells like fruity blueberries,
Tastes like fuzzy clouds,
Sounds like the roaring ocean,
And feels like rippling waterfalls.

Grandpa and the Roller Coaster
Once upon a time Grandpa and Katherine went to Cedar point. Grandpa loved roller coasters but Katherine had not yet ridden one. They went in and saw lots of colorful flowers. "Let's ride that roller coaster,"said Grandpa. He pointed to a brown wooden one called the Gemini. "Okay,"said Katherine nervously. They went and got in line. For a roller coaster it had a very short line. The two of them ran up steps and got into the front car line. Pretty soon it was their turn. They got in a blue car. Katherine soon figured out how to buckle in. The people that worked there checked their seat belts. One car (the red one) was not working. They started off. Katherine held on tight but suddenly she realized that she wasn't nervous anymore. The roller coaster began to climb. They looked out over the park. Suddenly they reached the top. Grandpa put his hands up but Katherine just screamed. They zoomed down hills and around curves. Pretty soon they began joking about putting their hands up. "To bad the red car couldn't race us,"said Katherine. "Yup,"
agreed Grandpa as they came into the station. Katherine didn't believe that Grandpa would ever get tired of riding roller coasters.
THE - END
