Lost In The Woods

One day Jimmy went outside."Don't be late for lunch," called his mother."Alright," he answered. He went into the woods to find a tree good for a tree house because his dad promised to build him one. As he went along he heard a bird singing. He whistled back. It was beautiful in the woods. Then he looked at his watch; it was time for lunch. He turned back. Suddenly, he didn't know where he was. "Oh no!" he thought. "Where am I?" The woods seemed quiet and scary now. "Do you know the way home?" he asked the bird. The bird did not know, so off they went trying to find the way home. They hadn't gone far when they heard someone sniffing around. "Maybe its a bear!" he thought, but out loud he said to the bird, " Who is that?" The bird flew up to see, but before she got back Jimmy's old dog, Bulldozer came out of the bushes. "It has disappeared!" said the bird coming back. Then she saw the dog. "Oh him. You'll be safe now," she said, and flew away. "Will you take me home, Bulldozer?" Jimmy asked, and his dog took him home. "Sorry I'm late for lunch," he said to his worried mother. " I got lost in the woods, but Bulldozer found me and took me home." THE END
