The big orange trees

Shake silently down the leaves

Red, yellow leaves

Fall quickly from the trees

Blowing, blowing, blowing

Falling, falling, falling

Now the trees are bare.

Story of windy

One day there was the sound of horses hooves. A beautiful horse came into the clearing. It was an amazing sight. She had her head up and her tail was flowing. But in a moment she was gone. Her name is Windy. Windy lives in the mountains by herself and comes down to the apple tree. Apples fall down and she eats them. Windy is my horse. She is dark black. She also comes down to see me. I love Windy. She is my favorite horse.

In science we are learning about the order edentata. This is my Armadillo. I drew him for school because armadillos are in the order edentata, which means "no teeth." Armadillos love to eat ants. They have a long sticky tongue, which ants stick to. Then they can eat them. Most armadillos are fast runners. The three banded armadillo can roll into a ball. They are also good swimmers. They can stay under water, walking along the bottom of rivers and streams for 6 minutes. Since they can't float very well, they blow themselves up with air and float. The armadillo sometimes carries leprosy.

The armadillo that I drew is on his path on his way home to his hole. He was out for lunch with his friend rabbit who lives among the trees. They had ants and plants for lunch. They also had raspberry tea. The man who owns the meadow is mowing, but he has not seen armadillo's path so the grass still hides the armadillo while he is on his way home. When he gets home he will take a nap. Please be quiet so he can sleep...the end.

I made dinner by myself. But mommy told me what to do. We had hotdogs and cooked broccoli. First I opened the package of hotdogs. There were seven but I only used five. I put them in the toaster oven and turned it on. While that was going I did the broccoli. For the broccoli I got a medium size pot. Then I cut the broccoli and put it in the pot. (While I was cutting the broccoli I cut my finger). I put cold water in the pot and put it on the stove. The hotdogs were done so I turned the toaster oven off. Then the broccoli was done. I put the hotdogs and broccoli on the plates. That was my dinner.
